What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ. Philippians 3:8, NIV
I was recently reminded of this verse during a study on the Beatitudes. Isn't it just fabulous? In this world of gaining, we should strive for losing. Stop, pause, and allow your priorities to be shaken. Oh the joy we have in this treasure called Jesus!
